How to deposit money at BongoBongo
Bongobongo Zambia allows deposits from Airtel, Zamtel, and MTN. The smallest deposit amount is ZK1, while the highest is ZK10000. Your payment will be processed promptly.
Airtel Money Deposits
- Dial *115# to access the Airtel Money menu
- Choose option 4 for Payments
- Select 5 for Goods and Services
- Enter the Merchant Code: bongobongo
- Specify the amount to deposit
- Add a reference (your phone number)
- Input your 4-digit Airtel Money PIN
- Upon successful deposit, you’ll receive a confirmation via SMS

MTN & ZAMTEL Deposits
To get started, log in to your Bongobongo account and find the prominent orange Deposit Button post-login. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Select or enter your desired deposit amount.
- Confirm your choice by clicking ‘Deposit’.
- Be prepared for the PIN prompt.
- Authorize the transaction by entering your PIN.
- Upon completion, you will receive a confirmation message verifying the successful transaction.
BongoBongo Withdrawals
- To start a withdrawal, log in to your Bongobongo account using your phone number and password. Initiate the process by clicking the specified link.
- Access your Bongobongo account by clicking on the Your Profile Icon and then selecting the WITHDRAW option.
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and click on the “Withdraw” button to confirm the transaction.
Note:
- Withdrawal Instructions: Minimum – K1, Maximum – K10,000 per transaction.
- Withdrawn funds will be sent to the primary mobile number associated with your account. If you have multiple phone numbers, ensure to select the correct one before proceeding with the withdrawal.
- Withdrawals are accessible round the clock and are swiftly processed within 1 hour, with completion typically taking 10-15 minutes, depending on Airtel, MTN, and Zamtel networks.
